What began in 2015 as a mere roadside idea has blossomed into a big event in the farming town of Chipinge every year. In just two and half years, the event has gained popularity as the steering committee continually improve the event for the benefit of the community. This year, the event has included other dimensions to migrate from just sports but to other aspects on a community's economy.
Running under the theme "Where Business Meets The Community", this year marks a new era regarding Chipinge's future. Corporates like CABS, Tingamira, Nyaradzo Funeral Services, PSMAS, Truworths, HP among others have already confirmed participation in this big event. Some corporates confirm that the event offers them a chance to get into the community with guaranteed coverage in terms outreach.
Chipinge is known a a cultural town and in the discourse of the program, the organizers of the event lead by Mr. Simba Mwaingeni hope to continue preserving and advancing the cultural agenda during this period. "Apart from the core aspects of Business and Talent, we hope to preserve and promote the Ndau cultures and language". Culture and language are critical variables to the success of a community's economy.
